Before we get started, let us remember the words of The Messiah:
“For whoever does the desire (obeys The Torah/Instruction) of My Father who is in the heavens is My brother and sister and mother.”

Let us also remember this:
“…For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel,”
Romans 9:6 ESV
Shalom Zion, we must always remember, no matter how “down” or “conscious” someone might be, if they teach in opposition to Torah/YAH’s Instruction, we should not give them our ear. Instead, we must separate ourselves from them and/or rebuke them with Scripture. Take for an example, KRS-One, well known rapper & teacher, known for his thought-provoking and conscious words. I have given him kudos over the years for some of his teachings and some of his songs like “Why Is That”, where he quotes Scripture and declares to the world that we, the so-called Blacks “Are The Children of Israel”:
It’s a classic track, but now, years later, he’s has changed his lyrics and teaching. He now says that “Black” Egyptians enslaved “Black Cushites” not “Black Israelites”, test and see if you catch the switch:
People have the privilege to change their minds, after all, I changed my belief and teaching (previously, I thought & taught that the commandments found in Torah didn’t really apply to us today, and now I know & teach adherence to the whole Bible). Also, let us look at something else which this self-proclaimed teacher, who is revered by many amongst our people, actually teaches:
That was yet another teaching against the truth of Torah. We Israelites do not commune with the dead nor do we leave food out or feast for the dead. It’s a clear anti-Torah practice; but don’t believe me, read the Scriptural commandment for yourself:
“When you (Israelites) come into the land which יהוה (YAHUAH/YAH, the name of the God of Israel) your Elohim (God) is giving you, do not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations. “Let NO one be found among you who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practises divination, or a user of magic, or one who interprets omens or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up THE DEAD. “For whoever does these is an abomination to יהוה (YAH), and because of these abominations יהוה (YAH) your Elohim (God) drives them out from before you. “Be perfect before יהוה (YAH) your Elohim (God), for these (non-Israelite) nations whom you are possessing do listen to those using magic and to diviners. But as for you (Israel), יהוה (YAH) your Elohim (God) has NOT appointed such for you.”

Other nations, no matter how much they resemble us, no matter how much we vibe with them, no matter how well we relate, they are not us, nor are we them. We might be the same skin-folk, but that does not make them our kinfolk. Another thing, some of these skinfolk, might be full-blooded Hamites, and not Shemites… We should be careful with whom we “force” to be Israel, they could just look like us, and as we know, our nationality is more than skin deep. Other nations have their own practices, rituals, and beliefs, which is fine for them, but we are commanded not to learn from their ways. Our ancestors were told to not even inquire or look into how the other nations got down, because YAH knew that we would try to copy them… and we did back then, and sadly, too many of us still do so today:
“Guard, and obey ALL these words which I COMMAND YOU (Israel), that it might be well with you AND YOUR CHILDREN AFTER YOU FOREVER, when you do what is good and right in the eyes of יהוה (YAH) your Elohim (God). “When יהוה (YAH) your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land, guard yourself that you are NOT ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do NOT inquire about their mighty ones (gods), saying, ‘How did these nations serve their mighty ones (gods)? And let me do so too.’ “Do not do so to יהוה (YAH) your Elohim, for every abomination which יהוה (YAH) hates they have done to their mighty ones, for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones. All the words I am commanding you (Israelites), guard to do it – do not add to it nor take away from it.”

Family, let us be on guard as to whom we give an ear to, no matter how conscious, well-meaning, or positive sounding they are. We must test everything… every person, every spirit, and every doctrine by checking it against The Word:
“Put ALL things to the TEST: keep what is good”
1 Thessalonians 5:21 GNTD
“My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, BUT TEST THEM to find out if the spirit they have comes from God (YAH). For many false prophets have gone out everywhere.”
1 John 4:1 GNTD
So when it comes to KRS-One, and anyone like him, that teaches and lives in opposition to Torah, do not become ensnared to follow after abominable teaching.
Changing gears, but also still speaking of abominable teaching, it was sad to see this post about what happened at a recent Juneteenth celebration. It is a learned and taught practice. Can you spot the abomination?:
This ain’t our celebration family… Juneteenth has been fully hijacked, and that’s ok, it belongs to America— but we belong to YAH family. Plus, we have feasts which we can keep, which celebrate victories & freedom: The Feast of Hanukkah/Dedication/Rededication (read 1 Maccabees chapters 1-4), and The Feast of Purim/Lots (read Esther). We don’t have to feel any kind of way about not celebrating Juneteenth, nor The 4th of Lies.
If anything, Juneteenth should be a sad day, a day of memorial… really think about it. It is an annual reminder that our people were given a semblance of freedom from slavery, two years late. Plus we all know that slavery still exists in America, and our people are disproportionately enslaved in prisons, some of which who are innocent of the crimes of which they were convicted. Closing this out, let’s connect the prohibition to communing with & feasting with/for the dead, and the eating of abominable meats—Just Don’t Do It Zion! We must live & teach Torah. We know what YAH thinks about these abominable acts, and if not, we can read what he has to say about it:
“I have held out My hands all day long to a stubborn people (Israel), who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts; the people who provoke Me continually to My face, who slaughter in gardens, and burn incense on slaughter-places of brick; who sit among the burial-sites, and spend the night in secret places, who eat flesh of pigs, and the broth of unclean meat is in their pots, who say, ‘Keep to yourself, do not come near me, for I am set-apart to you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day.”

“For look, יהוה (YAH) comes with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His displeasure with burning, and His rebuke with flames of fire. “For by fire and by His sword יהוה (YAH) shall judge all flesh, and the slain of יהוה (YAH) shall be many – those who set themselves apart and cleanse themselves at the gardens after ‘one’ in the midst, eating flesh of pigs and the abomination and the mouse, are snatched away (destroyed), together,” declares יהוה (YAH).”

And also, let us never forget the words of The Messiah, our King:
“Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.”

The scribes & Pharisees (as stiff-necked and ignorant as they were), would never break Torah by eating abominations and communing with the dead, nor would they teach others to do so, so we cannot break Torah and think we will make it into The Kingdom of YAH 😮💨😑
“So that, my beloved, as you always obeyed – not only in my presence, but now much rather in my absence – work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling, for it is Elohim who is working in you both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.”
