Well family… Since our last blog, can you count how many worldwide shake-ups there have been? If not, perhaps you were otherwise occupied by some of the viral things being shared all over our devices and the news. I’ve already heard this so-called New Year is called “The Big Year of Exposure”, “The Year of Information”, “The Year of Change”, etc… We can see why, but it could also be said more “biblically” that we have entered The Day or The Age of Exposure/Information/Change. Now, before we go any further, let’s look up a few words, shall we…

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible,”
Ephesians 5:11-13 ESV
Every couple of days (so far) in 2024, we have been flooded by the exposure of new and changing information. Understandings and beliefs are being proven true or disproved, challenged or established with every bit of new “news”. We seem to be in a constant storm where waves of world-changing information ebb & flow as they “break the internet” faster than we can fully process before the next wave hits. With each new viral event, whether it be from: celebrities & podcasts; national & International leaders; religious leaders & institutions; worldwide wars & conflicts; natural & supernatural disasters; air, land & sea phenomena; reports of extraterrestrial activities; new diseases & failed cures; famines & droughts; supply shortages & service outages, etc… We are seeing the signs of “breaking news” fatigue. Some of us tune out all the goings-on, while others of us can find ourselves consumed by it all, and some of us know just enough about what’s going on to get by while still minding our business. No matter where on that spectrum we find ourselves as time keeps moving forward, let us remember to follow in the way of The Messiah, let us mind our Father’s business (Luke 2:49), because this is our time of duty, it’s our time to shine.
Like never before, we must be vigilant in guarding our thoughts & actions. We must not get swept away, no matter the storm. We must work towards renewing our minds daily, especially after hearing the ever-changing “next big thing”. We stay grounded, we stay focused, and we stay above it all, by obeying our Creator, we must follow His instructions. We must remember that everything is going just as Our King, The Messiah said it would in Matthew 24 & Luke 21 (along with other passages in Scripture). We are told to not be afraid during trying times, but instead, we are supposed to recognize the signs of the times, enduring till the end in righteousness, while looking intently towards our time of redemption. It’s going to get wilder, it must get more lawless & wicked according to Scripture, we cannot be surprised, so let us work tirelessly as we bring every thought into captivity and make it obey The Messiah. We must not get distracted or doubt in The Messiah, or else we will find ourselves sinking beneath the stormy waves as Peter did. Greater storms are coming! We must guard our words and our thoughts so they/we will be found acceptable in the eyes of our Father in Heaven. Our ancestors made it through their storms, and we must do all that we can to do so too… It’s our turn at bat! We must not fear man, nor creation, we fear YAH alone because He is The One, The only One who ultimately creates & destroys, and most importantly we must obey His commands & His instructions—His Torah! Harder times are coming, and they ain’t for the weak, and HalleluYAH for knowing that we ain’t weak, because we are made strong in HIM!
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not fight according to the flesh. For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds, overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah,”
Qorintiyim Bĕt (2 Corinthians) 10:3-5 TS2009
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be pleasing before You, O יהוה (YAH), my rock and my redeemer.”
Tehillim (Psalms) 19:14 TS2009
“Blessed is the man who shall not walk in the counsel of the wrong, And shall not stand in the path of sinners, And shall not sit in the seat of scoffers, But his delight is in the Torah of יהוה, And he meditates in His Torah day and night.”
Tehillim (Psalms) 1:1-2 TS2009
“Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be discouraged, for יהוה your Elohim is with you wherever you go.”
Yehoshua (Joshua) 1:8-9 TS2009
“And do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the being (soul). But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both being and body in GĕHinnom (Hell).”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 10:28 TS2009
And let us remember this matter too, we must strive to keep our minds from making things harder than they need to be. We have to work daily towards keeping the main thing, the main thing. Many of us want to know about everything, all at once; we want to research and study everything both night & Day, but that can lead to dysfunction if we lose focus of the main thing. And we know what the main thing is right? Fear YAH our Elohim, and obey His commandments (Torah)!
“And besides these, my son, be warned – the making of many books has no end, and much study is a wearying of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear Elohim and guard His commands, for this applies to all mankind! For Elohim shall bring every work into right-ruling (judgment), including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.”
Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 12:12-14 TS2009
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.”
Romiyim (Romans) 12:2 TS2009
“if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as truth is in יהושע (Yahoshua): that you put off – with regard to your former behaviour – the old man, being corrupted according to the desires of the deceit, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the renewed man which was created according to Elohim, in righteousness and set-apartness of the truth. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil. And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.”
Eph`siyim (Ephesians) 4:21-24, 31-32 TS2009
We are awesomely and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14), and YAH our Creator has made everything in creation work (Colossians 1:16), no matter how big or small. Look at this quick video below, it showcases the inner workings of our immune systems, and remember, nothing operates without YAH! He established everything from the immensely powerful sun to our smallest cells. Worldwide calamities, as big as they are, are nothing without nor in comparison to YAH. Storms will come, war will come, disasters will come, diseases will come, and worries will come, but we must cast our cares & anxieties on YAH, and seek His Kingdom every day.
“Cast your burden on יהוה, And let Him sustain you; He never allows the righteous to be shaken.”
Tehillim (Psalms) 55:22 TS2009
“Humble yourselves, then, under the mighty hand of Elohim, so that He exalts you in due time, casting all your worry upon Him, for He is concerned about you.”
Kĕpha Aleph (1 Peter) 5:6-7 TS2009
“Because of this I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you shall eat or drink, or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than the food and the body more than the clothing? Look at the birds of the heaven, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into storehouses, yet your heavenly Father does feed them. Are you not worth more than they? “And which of you by worrying is able to add one cubit to his life’s span? So why do you worry about clothing? Note well the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin, and I say to you that even Shelomoh in all his esteem was not dressed like one of these. “But if Elohim so clothes the grass of the field, which exists today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more you, O you of little belief? Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ “For all these the nations seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these shall be added to you. “Do not, then, worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow shall have its own worries. Each day has enough evil of itself.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 6:25-34 TS2009
Until next time, shalom ✌🏾
