Welcome back to our thought-provoking series where we examine and debunk some of the outright lies and common misconceptions that are told concerning biblical matters. Let us separate fact from fiction as we test modern beliefs held by some against the standards, wisdom, and instructions that are found in the Biblical Scriptures.
More and more these days, I find myself irritated whenever I hear someone say — whether on TV, online, or in person — something like:
“Well, that’s what the “Old Testament”/“Hebrew Bible” says, but we live under the Christian Bible/“New Testament.””
I always want to respond with something like:
““New Testament” what?… Oh yeah, that’s right, the “New Testament” Scriptures of The so-called “Hebrew Bible.””
Let’s help the world wake up and realize this:
If you insist on using the misleading term “New Testament,” then at the very least call it — “The New Testament of The Complete Hebrew Bible.” (BTW, The whole Bible is a collection of Scriptures about The Covenant, not simply testaments, but that’s a subject for a different blog.)
🔍 Let’s Check Google Real Quick before we go any futher…

😑😮💨 Sheesh!
Can folks stop the madness? No wonder so many people repeat the same foolishness — they’re simply recycling what they’ve been taught, without testing it. Alright, let’s begin to shine some light on the matter:
📜 The Bible Is One Unified Book
The entire collection of Scripture — from Genesis to Revelation — was written by, for, and to Hebrew Israelites, and the whole world should also read & heed it!
Let’s not let anyone forget:
- Mosheh (Moses) was and will forever be a Hebrew Israelite — Torah, the first five books of the Bible also called the “Books of Moses”
- The Biblical leaders of Israel including the judges, kings, and prophets were Hebrew. — the remaining books of the “Old Testament”
- And of course, The Messiah, and all His disciples & apostles who wrote the latter books & letters in the Bibles we carry today were Hebrew — You know, the ones who wrote the so-called “New Testament”, yep Hebrew Israelites 😎
And guess what? Every Bible includes a “New Testament” book literally called Hebrews, written again: by, for, and to Hebrews.
Ya’aqob (James), the half-brother of The Messiah, opens his letter by clearly addressing it to:

He wasn’t talking to 12 Roman or Greek tribes, No — he was writing directly to the diaspora of Israel, the scattered twelve tribes of Hebrew Israelites.
📖 Paul, the Hebrew of Hebrews
Sha’ul (Paul), who wrote many of the books & letters (epistles) in the so-called “New Testament” declared boldly and repeatedly who he was:
“…circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews…”
(Philippians 3:4–5, ESV)
“…I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin.”
(Romans 11:1, ESV)
And in Acts 21–22, Paul speaks to His Hebrew people in Hebrew:
“I am a Yahudi (“Jew”), born in Tarsus… educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the law of our fathers…”
(Acts 22:3)
Paul wasn’t trying to distance himself from his Israelite identity. In fact, even with Roman birthright citizenship, he affirmed it loud and clear. Just like many of us today — we might be citizens of the U.S. or other nations, but that has nothing to do with our bloodline heritage.
I was born in the USA.
BUT I am — and will always be — a Hebrew Israelite! Yes, “American” by birthright citizenship and Hebrew by blood & covenant!
📘 Revelation: Still Hebrew at the End
Let’s jump to the last book of the Bible — Revelation, and for some additional revelation shall we?
Yes, even at the end of the Bible, the Hebrew language and people are still front & center:
“They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon…”
(Revelation 9:11)
“And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.”
(Revelation 16:16)
So much for Hebrew being “done away with” because of the “New Testament”, as some say, right? It was listed first in Hebrew for a reason, before being translated into Greek. These modern day translation can never change the original language & people. The Hebrew language and people matter at the end of days — just as much as they mattered at the beginning — “Old” and “New” parts of The Complete Bible is always going to be about Hebrew!
🧱 A closer Look At The Final Vision: Wall To Wall Hebrew
As we near the very end of Scripture in Revelation 21, we’re shown The New Jerusalem — The Kingdom to come — descending out of Heaven. What do we find there?

- 12 gates with the names of the 12 sons of Israel (the patriarchs of the 12 Hebrew Israelite Tribes).
- 12 foundations with the names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb — all Hebrew Israelites.
“It (The Kingdom from Heaven) had a great, high wall, with twelve gates,… and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel (Hebrew Israelites) were inscribed— And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of The Lamb (The Lamb is The Messiah, all Hebrew Israelites).”
Revelation 21:12, 14 ESV
HalleluYAH. What a way to end the Hebrew Bible—Hebrew Israelites foundation through and through!
💡 The Conclusion Is Clear
Again, The Bible — from Bereshith (Genesis) to Hazon (Revelation) — is Hebrew.
It begins with the Hebrew people.
It ends with the Hebrew people.
And it is through The Hebrew Messiah, Yahoshua, that redemption comes:
“She shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name יהושע (Yahoshua), for He shall save His people from their sins.”

“…They are (Hebrew) Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law (Torah), the worship, and the promises… and from their race, according to the flesh, is The Messiah…”

We can go much further, but I’m really trying to keep these as blogs, and not long articles, dissertations, or “new epistles” 😂, so let’s start closing this one out.
Let’s stop letting the world separate the so-called “Old” from the “New.”
The Bible is a collection of “older and newer” writings, and it will forever be all one story about The One & Only Elohim and His covenant with His chosen Hebrew people:
One covenant.
One people.
One Hebrew Book!
Lastly, I know the word “Hebrew” isn’t the real “Hebrew” word for the language & people, this is a surface-level blog on the topic. But I think it’s a good starting point for anyone who wants to go deeper, or even debate the topic of the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation being Hebrew. And before you reject or diminish that truth, you might want to consider how important Hebrew is to The Messiah, after all, when He first spoke to Paul (Shaul) on his way to Damascus, He spoke to him in the holy (set apart) language of Hebrew… Not Greek, Latin, Aramaic, or any other language which Paul also knew:
“And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Sha’ul, Sha’ul, why do you persecute Me? It is hard for you to kick against the prods.’ “And I said, ‘Who are You, Master?’ And He said, ‘I am יהושע (Yahoshua), whom you persecute.”

And for those that say, well the New Testament was written in Greek. Look into it, then carefully consider it. Just as we can read The whole Bible in English (and other languages) today, it was Hebrew writers who spoke and authored the Scriptures, and they were also translated into Greek. So yes, The “New Testament” was translated into Greek, and those manuscripts were the ones that survived in the largest numbers. That doesn’t mean the “New Testament” was first spoken and written in Greek. Just as we read about the so-called “Old Testament” scriptures being destroyed by the Greeks in the book of first Maccabees, we know that scrolls, books, and other artifacts get destroyed by conquering nations, the same can be understood concerning our latter scriptures and records. Little by little the truth is being uncovered… Information has been shared for a few years ago about “finding” original Hebrew manuscripts of the books of Matthew and Luke… Google and ChatGPT are free, fact check me and while you’re reading, put on your critical thinking hats (see below). I would say the are hidden away copies of all of our Hebrew Scriptures, just waiting for the day when it’s all revealed. What does the Greek word Apocrypha mean again?… The game of cover-up, the game of hide-and-seek is almost over.
