Red, White, Blue, (and Gold) — The Colors of Our Covenant, Not Their Colonialism.
The Copycat Nations
Take a look around the world. What colors do some of the most powerful nations proudly fly?
Red. White. Blue. and…Gold.

🇺🇸America: red, white, and blue — traditionally said to represent valor (red), purity (white), and justice (blue).

🇬🇧Britain: red, white, and blue — said to represent bravery or martyrdom (red), purity or peace (white), and vigilance or loyalty (blue).

🇫🇷France: red, white, and blue — fraternity (red), equality (white), and liberty (blue).

🏛️Rome & Greece: red, white, blue, and gold — said to represent power (red), honor (white), divinity (blue), and royalty (gold), used to exalt emperors and gods above all.
Coincidence? Not likely.

Empires have flown and paraded around in red, white, and blue national colors — the very colors YAH gave to His people, Yisrael. Empires display the colors in their military ceremonies, government buildings, and their shows of world dominance & national pride. They turn them into brands of empire and conquest. But the truth is: these colors were never theirs to begin with. They were ours — from the coverings of the Tabernacle in the wilderness, to the garments of the priests, to the throne of YAH Himself.
And while the nations lift their banners and colors high, many of us Israelites who have been scattered and sold a false identity, think these colors represent colonization. But YAH is awakening and rising His people up high—HalleluYAH! And it’s our time to expose the counterfeit — and reclaim the covenant colors of Yisrael.
The Divine Origins of Yisrael’s Colors
Before America declared independence…
Before Britain united a kingdom…
Before Rome crowned its emperors in gold…
YAH had already chosen the national colors for His people.
“And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass, and blue, and purple (red mixed with blue), and scarlet (red), and fine linen (white)…”
— Exodus 25:3–4
“Every man, both men and women, made an offering… gold… blue, and purple (red + blue), and scarlet, and fine linen (white)…”
— Exodus 35:22–24
These weren’t merely colors of decoration — they were declarations.
They declared who we were.
They declared Who we served.
They declared that we were different, peculiar, set apart.
While other nations wore the colors to impress others, Yisrael wore the colors to obey & honor YAH.
While empires dyed their banners in the senseless and selfish shedding of blood, Yisrael’s colors were soaked in purpose and purity. Because unlike the nations who boast in flags, we boast in our Elohim, we boast in Yahuah!
As we see in Exodus 17:15, let us also declare: “Yahuah Nissi” — Yahuah is my banner!

Psalms 34:2-3
Ensure that you hear this lesson from Dr. Yoshiyahu:
Now, let us continue.
🔴 🟤Red (also Hebraically brown)– From Adam to The Atonement, to Our Redemption
Red is personal for us Israelites. It’s not just symbolic — it’s a part of who we are.
As Dr. Yoshiyahu expounded on above, Adam was formed from (in Hebrew) adamah (red/brown earth soil) and dam (red blood), The Messiah, Yahoshua, was born in the likeness of His people — red/brown has been the natural color of Yisrael since the beginning.
We are the people of clay and covenant, the color of the red heifer/the brown cow, and the very earthen soil of the ground itself.

“And YAH Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground…”
— Genesis 2:7

I think we get it, you mix brown dust of the ground, with red blood, and you get Adam — mankind, now let’s take it to another step.
Red, doesn’t just speak of skin — it speaks of sin and salvation.
“… though your sins be as scarlet; though they be red like crimson”
— Isaiah 1:18
Then of course, the red blood of the Passover lamb covered us in Egypt (Exodus 12:7). Rahab’s scarlet cord saved her house (Joshua 2:18). The red heifer’s blood & ashes purified the unclean (Numbers 19). And ultimately, the blood of Yahoshua atoned and sealed the everlasting covenant (Matthew 26:28).
Red is the color of our origin, our guilt, and our covering.
It represents both the flesh and the atonement.
⚪ White – The Pure & Clean Garments of the Righteous
If red is the color of our covering, white is the result of being cleansed.
“Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (white).”
— Isaiah 1:18
White linen was worn by the priests and the tabernacle was wrapped in it.
“Then make the courtyard for the Tabernacle, enclosed with curtains made of finely woven linen…”
— Exodus 27:9
“They must wear linen turbans and linen undergarments. They must not wear anything that would cause them to perspire.”
— Ezekiel 44:18
“The craftsmen must make the (priest’s) ephod of finely woven linen…”
— Exodus 28:6
In Revelation, white garments are the clothing of the saints.
“To her was granted… fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.”
— Revelation 19:8
And make no mistake — Scripture never equates white skin with blessing.
Miriam was struck with leprosy and became “white as snow” (Numbers 12:10). Moses’ hand turned leprous and white as a sign (Exodus 4:6). The unclean (white with leprosy) were cast outside the camp (Numbers 5:2). Even Yahoshua healed lepers marked with white affliction (Mark 1:40-42).
So, when YAH cleanses our sin and garments or give us white linen, He’s not glorifying pale skin — He’s glorifying and symbolizing purity, repentance, and righteousness.
While the nations idolize whiteness — YAH sanctifies and requires cleanliness!
🔵 Blue – A Divine Set Apart Covenant Reminder
Blue, reflects our remembrance to be set apart as we obey the commands of The Covenant which was established by YAH.
“Then they (the priests) must cover the inner curtain with fine goatskin leather and spread over that a single piece of blue cloth… Next they must spread a blue cloth over the table where the Bread of the Presence is displayed… Next they must cover the lampstand with a blue cloth, along with its lamps, lamp snuffers, trays, and special jars of olive oil. Then they must cover the lampstand (menorah) and its accessories with fine goatskin leather and place the bundle on a carrying frame. Next they must spread a blue cloth over the gold incense altar and cover this cloth with fine goatskin leather…They must take all the remaining furnishings of the sanctuary and wrap them in a blue cloth…”
— Numbers 4:6-12
“Give the following instructions to the people of Israel: Throughout the generations… make tassels for the hems of your clothing and attach them with a blue cord. When you see the tassels, you will remember and obey all the commands of the Lord (YAH)… The tassels will help you remember that you must obey all my commands and be holy (set apart) to your God (Elohim).”
— Numbers 15:38–40
It’s also heavenly divine, and should always remind us of that which is above us and under YAH:
“…and there was under His (YAH’s) feet as it were a paved work of sapphire (blue) stone…”
— Exodus 24:10
Blue covered the Ark, the Sanctuary items, and the priesthood.
“Make the (priest’s) robe that is worn with the ephod from a single piece of blue cloth,”
— Exodus 28:31
So, while the nations wear blue to conquer, we wear it to remember and remain humble.
🟡 Gold – Royalty. The Glory and Authority of YAH!
Gold isn’t just about wealth, it’s weight—Glory. Presence. Permanence. Sovereignty.
“Have the people make an Ark of acacia wood… Overlay it inside and outside with pure gold, and run a molding of gold all around it. Cast four gold rings and attach them to its four feet, two rings on each side. Make poles… and overlay them with gold. “Then make the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—from pure gold… Then make two cherubim from hammered gold… Mold the cherubim on each end of the atonement cover, making it all of one piece of gold. I will meet with you there and talk to you from above the atonement cover between the gold cherubim that hover over the Ark of the Covenant. From there I will give you My commands for the people of Israel.”
— Exodus 25:10-13, 17-19, 22
“Then Solomon overlaid the rest of the Temple’s interior with solid gold, and he made gold chains to protect the entrance to the Most Holy Place. So he finished overlaying the entire Temple with gold, including the altar that belonged to the Most Holy Place.”
— 1 Kings 6:21-22
Our ancient Israelite’s who were obedient to YAH while in foreign nations, were put in positions of authority, they were elevated and positioned as what could be called today— Prime Ministers, in their lands of captivity. And though it may seem that they were wearing Egypt’s, Persia’s, and Babylon’s royal colors and gold jewelry— they were really reflecting the patterns of YAH’s royal priesthood:
“Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the entire land of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh removed his (most likely gold) signet ring from his hand and placed it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in fine linen clothing and hung a gold chain around his neck. Then he had Joseph ride in the chariot reserved for his second-in-command. And wherever Joseph went, the command was shouted, “Kneel down!” So Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of all Egypt. And Pharaoh said to him, “I am Pharaoh, but no one will lift a hand or foot in the entire land of Egypt without your approval.””
— Genesis 41:41-44
“Then Mordecai (the Israelite) left the (Persian) king’s presence, wearing the royal robe of blue and white, the great crown of gold, and an outer cloak of fine linen and purple. And the people of Susa (Persia) celebrated the new decree.”
— Esther 8:15
“In fact, all the (Persian Empire’s) provincial officials—governors, administrators, and royal representatives—helped the Jews (Yahudim) because they were all afraid of Mordecai. It was well-known throughout the (Persian) empire that Mordecai (the Israelite) was now a powerful man in the palace and was growing more powerful.”
— Esther 9:3-4
“Then Belshazzar (Babylon) gave the command, and Daniel (the Israelite) was clothed with purple and a gold chain was put around his neck, and a proclamation concerning him was issued [declaring] that Daniel (the Israelite) now had authority as the third ruler in the kingdom (of Babylon).”
— Daniel 5:29
Again, The Ark, the menorah, the Temple—each was adorned with gold. Foreign kingdoms honored & crowned our Israelite ancestors in gold as they made them Prime Ministers. But let us never forget: the crowns in heaven, the Royal City of YAH, and its main street in the Renewed Jerusalem are all made of gold!
“In a circle around the throne were twenty-four other thrones, on which were seated twenty-four elders dressed in white and wearing crowns of gold.”
— Revelation 4:4
“And I looked and saw a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was One like The Son of Man, with a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.”
— Revelation 14:14
“And I saw the holy city, the new (renewed) Jerusalem, coming down from YAH out of heaven… and the city was pure gold… And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass.”
— Revelation 21:2, 18, 21
Gold is not merely an earthly trophy or precious metal — it is a holy & royal testimony. And it reflects the presence of YAH with us.
Reclaiming the Reflection & Banner of YAH
The nations of the world proudly display their so-called colors and wave their flags. But YAH’s royal colors predate and will outlast every kingdom and empire under the sun. As we reclaim, wear, display, and fly His colors again, let us do so humbly with thanksgiving. Let us remember once again, as we close this out, a few of the things that His royal colors mean for us:
🔴 Red (and Brown) – Adam, blood, sin, and atonement
⚪ White – Cleansing, obedience, and righteousness
🔵 Blue – Covenant, remembrance, Heaven, and Torah
🟡 Gold – Glory, royalty, authority, and the presence of YAH
These are not colors of political pride. They are prophetic, priestly, and powerful.. And no matter what other flags or banners fly worldwide, we remember who our banner is:
“And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Yahuah Nissi — YAH is my banner.”
— Exodus 17:15
We don’t bow down to the American flag, or any other banner of any other nation. We raise & praise the Name of YAH.
We wear our colors not as a symbol of a nation built by men — but for the Kingdom built by YAH!
So Let Us:
- Confess the red of our sin & the atoning red blood of Yahoshua.
- Live as if we already already walking in white garments of His righteousness.
- Remember YAH’s Commandments when we wear & see the blue on the corners of our clothing.
- Reflect the royal gold of His glory.
We are awakening Yisrael: A royal priesthood. A set-apart nation. A people of YAH’s promise and power.

It’s time for us to look like the holy race of YAH, His chosen people, His royal priesthood. It’s time we walk like it, and talk like it, and dress like it too!
Let the nations wave their flags, and we will continue to lift up YAH as our banner, while we reclaim and remember the colors of our covenant!

Until next time, shalom ✌🏾
