Welcome back to our thought-provoking series where we examine and debunk some of the outright lies and common misconceptions that are told concerning Biblical matters. Let us separate fact from fiction as we test modern beliefs held by some against the standards, wisdom, and instructions that are found in the Biblical Scriptures.
Picking up where we left off on Part 8, let’s build further.
There is a pattern woven throughout Scripture — an example of what not to do, made clear in Torah: a warning repeated by the prophets, upheld by The Messiah Yahoshua. Simply put, it’s seen throughout Scripture, from the first books to the last book of The Bible. The greatest danger to the people of The Most High YAH is not atheism or secularism… it is counterfeit religions — religions that:
Claim an “Old Testament” foundation, connection, and reverence — while rejecting Torah in practice.
This is the pattern of deception seen from Genesis to Revelation. And today, the so-called Abrahamic religions — (I say so-called, because its absurd to say that Abraham had multiple religions; Abraham’s way was singular not pluralistic; he followed YAH’s commands; he worshiped YAH and YAH alone… but let me continue, ‘Abrahamic religions’): Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are united in common flaws, sins that bind them to Satan:
- Traditions of men that are taught & treasured above YAH’s commanded instructions/Torah
One of the oldest points to reference is when Aaron, brother of Moses, led the Israelites into practicing a counterfeit way of worshiping YAH (Exodus 32). They made an idol, worshiped it, and celebrated a feast unto it, all in the name of YAH.
“Aaron took the people’s earrings, melted them, poured the gold into a mold, and made a gold bull-calf. The people said, “Israel, this is our god, who led us out of Egypt!” Then Aaron built an altar in front of the gold bull-calf and announced, “Tomorrow there will be a festival to honor YAH.” Early the next morning they brought some animals to burn as sacrifices and others to eat as fellowship offerings. The people sat down to a feast, which turned into an orgy of drinking and sex.”
— Exodus 32:4-6
The Israelites quickly began walking in another way — a counterfeit way of honoring, worshiping, and celebrating YAH. They didn’t claim to worship another elohim; no, they insisted it was all “to YAH,” by name. Yet they held a wicked festival, full of feasting and unclean acts, bowing before a man-made golden calf — all in the name of YAH. And this happened at the very foot of the same mountain where, just days earlier (see Exodus 20:18–20), they heard YAH’s voice, His trumpets, His thunderings, and trembled at the fire and smoke of His presence. In almost no time, they turned from the covenant they agreed to — obeying the Ten Words — and chose to worship YAH through a counterfeit way.
And to ensure we are on the same page, feel free to confirm the definition of “counterfeit” https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/counterfeit, and then let’s get into this.
Again, counterfeit religions, are not a new problem. It’s ancient. And it’s a problem Scripture has been exposing for thousands of years, and prayerfully as we continue we will expose these Big-3 counterfeit so-called ‘Abrahamic Religions’.
The Pattern of Satan: Twist our Father’s Word, Counterfeit His Commands
The deceiver, our adversary does not start by telling people to throw Scripture away. He starts by twisting what YAH already said. This has always been his method and it will be until his end:
- Genesis 3:1–5 — he subtly distorts YAH’s command
- John 10:10 — he comes to kill, steal, and destroy
- John 8:44 — he is the father of lies
- Revelation 12:9 — he “deceives the whole world.”
To understand the adversary’s deception, we must understand the Hebrew meaning behind the deceiver’s, the adversary’s main title (which is treated as his name):
- śāṭān (satan)— adversary, accuser, opposer
- haśśāṭān (“The Satan”)— the adversary, the accuser, the opposer

Being “satanic”, does not have its foundation in worshipping a horned being or reading a “satanic bible”. It’s much more basic than that, being satanic means being adversarial to YAH.
When a person opposes the will of YAH, rejects His instruction (Torah), or stands against His purpose — they function satanically, whether they know it or not.
This is why The Messiah Yahoshua turned to Peter, His own disciple, and said:
“Get behind Me, satan… for you are not mindful of the things of Elohim.”
— Matthew 16:23
Peter didn’t join a satanic church, he didn’t start praying to Satan, he didn’t start throwing up “devil horns” — none of that… Peter opposed YAH’s plan. That was his satanic move, he wanted to steer Yahoshua off The Way and onto a false way. We must never forget that:
- Being adversarial to YAH’s way — is satanic
- Rejecting and Breaking Torah — is satanic
- Teaching and leading others to break Torah — is satanic
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are satanic!
Again, the three religions above are so-called ‘Abrahamic religions’, but to be Abrahamic, you must do what Abraham did — he obeyed the commandments, the instructions/Torah of YAH:

When a religion professes a foundation in Torah yet teaches people to oppose Torah, it’s an adversarial, counterfeit way. When a religion agrees that Torah is good, then teaches the breaking of Torah—it is satanic.
- The New Testament praises Torah (Romans 3:31, 7:12)
- The Jewish Talmud praises Torah (Berakhot 5a, Shabbat 88a, Eruvin 54a)
- The Islamic Qur’an praises Torah (5:43–44, 5:66)
And still somehow:
- Christianity disregards Torah — counterfeiting via church dogma
- Judaism buries Torah — counterfeiting via Talmudic tradition
- Islam replaces Torah — counterfeiting via Qur’anic pillars
Only the unadulterated Bible itself, and those who obey it — uphold Torah as YAH commands. And it’s that Torah-breaking mindset that unites the counterfeit “Abrahamic religions” today.
Religion Claims Torah While Rejecting It
Yes, all three major world religions claim a direct connection to Torah but they don’t obey Torah.
Christianity:
Teaches that Torah—often reduced to “the Law”—was “fulfilled,” as if fulfilled means cancelled, ended, or replaced—by having faith in The Messiah. Christianity claims that obedience to Torah is no longer required because of Calvary. Many church doctrines go even further, insisting that trying to obey Torah, or as they say ‘keep the law’ is ‘legalism’ or somehow incompatible with faith in The Messiah, all while still calling the writings of Moses righteous Scripture. They’ll say, “Don’t worry about keeping the law,” yet turn around and affirm Psalm 1 and Psalm 119—which is downright contradictory, because both Psalms make it unmistakably clear that Torah is good and must be obeyed if someone hopes to be counted righteous.
Judaism:
Professes adherence to Torah… But buries Torah under anti-Torah man-made teachings, rulings, “fences”, and traditions from the Talmud, just like the Pharisees & Sadducees did, whom The Messiah repeatedly rebuked.
Islam:
Claims “Musa” (Moses) and the “Tawrat” (Torah)… But replaces YAH’s Torah truth with later writings and traditions that contradict Torah entirely.
YAH warned about false ways like the three religions above, He commands:
“Do not add to The Word (Torah)… nor take away from it.”
— Deuteronomy 4:2
“If a prophet… leads you away from the command (Torah), you shall not listen.”
— Deuteronomy 13:1–5
Remember, Satan’s way is deception, distortion, replacement, and counterfeiting. Ensure that these key verses in your Bible are highlighted right now, and then let us continue: Revelation 12:9, Isaiah 14:12-15, John 8:44, 1 John 3:8, 1 Peter 5:8, and 2 Corinthians 11:14.
Claiming Torah while rejecting Torah is the mark of a false way, it’s counterfeit—it is satanic!
The Messiah Rebuked Man-made Tradition — Not Torah
When we read The Gospels, we do not see Yahoshua getting into it with any followers of the church of Satan, nor what Christians today call pagans. The Messiah rebuked and edified the satanic religious folks who had replaced Torah with their own traditions.
Yahoshua confronted the deceptive religious leaders of His day—men who held the Torah in their hands yet treated its instructions with contempt. In resisting the truth and opposing the will of YAH, their actions were satanic (see how He rebuked them in John 8:44). They had elevated their so-called oral traditions—later written down in what became the Talmud—and they cherished and taught these human rulings above the righteous Torah commandments of YAH. Let us never forget Yahoshua’s words when He rebuked them:
“Why do you transgress the commandment of Elohim (Torah) for your tradition?”
— Matthew 15:3
“You make the commandment of Elohim (Torah) of no effect by your tradition.”
— Matthew 15:6
“You reject the command of Elohim (Torah) so you can keep your tradition.”
— Mark 7:9
Yahoshua never rebuked Torah—He defended and proclaimed it. He attacked the counterfeit religious system that dared to sit above the Word of YAH.
This same spirit of tradition-over-Torah is what now dominates Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Different labels. Different languages. Different customs. But the same root problem of placing man-made traditions over YAH’s commanded Torah. In all of these counterfeit religions we see the same thing:
YAH’s Torah — His way, gets abandoned when the traditions of men become their way — that is the way of satan… that is the false way.

The False Way — How Counterfeit Religions Spread
To most of the world, counterfeit faiths rarely look evil — at first glance. To many, false ways seem right — until the light shines on them. Counterfeit ways — on the surface — look righteous, spiritual, uplifting, and sincere. They sound positive and smooth. They make people feel good… That’s why so many choose and spread the false way counterfeits.
Scripture tells us plainly:
- 2 Corinthians 11:13–15 — the adversary disguises himself as light, as do his followers and ministers
- Matthew 7:15–23 — false prophets and followers use His Name but practice lawlessness/Torahlessness
- 2 Timothy 4:2–5 — people turn from truth to teachers who tell them what they want to hear.
Paul warned:
“They will not endure sound doctrine… and will turn away their ears from the truth.”
And what is TRUTH?
“YAH’s righteousness is everlasting righteousness, and Your Torah is the truth.”
— Psalm 119:142
Counterfeit religions use just enough Biblical language to sound as if they agree with the Bible, but they reject obedience to The Torah, the foundation and essence of The Bible — they are the strong delusion, they are the false and counterfeit way.
That’s why millions of people who claim belief in the Bible while rejecting Torah:
- Are religious… yet disobedient and wicked
- Feel spiritual… yet do not have YAH’s Spirit
- Feel saved… yet walk lost because of ignorance & rebellion
How can we know The Way? Here again, are some verses to highlight in your Bible before we continue: Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 119:97-105, Psalm 32:8, amongst many others. So now let’s see how we can test the way, and those who say to follow their ways. We should test all things and hold on to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21 and Romans 12:9), and we must absolutely test those who say they are leaders before walking with them or following their path (Amos 3:3).
Test The Fruit— The Scriptural Spiritual Test
Scripture tells us to judge with righteous judgment, we are to test all things, by what is true according to YAH, not by how we feel or what we think. We must not think a person or religion is righteous simply because of their:
- inspirational preaching
- outstanding music
- moral behavior
- charitable donations
- respected tradition
- sincerity & passion
- or even their miraculous works
Scripture teaches us to judge with righteous judgment, by the standards of YAH’s Torah — YAH’s way, His standard, not ours:
- Revelation 14:12 — those who have His spirit and not a counterfeit spirit, must keep the commandments of YAH (Torah) and the faith of Yahoshua
- 1 John 2:3–6 — those who claim to know Him must walk as He walked
- Ecclesiastes 12:13 — “Fear YAH and keep His commandments”
- Romans 3:31 — We do not do away with Torah because of our faith; on the contrary, we uphold Torah
- James 2:14-26 — you are justified by what you do (obey Torah), not merely by what you believe
If a religion/religious leader claims Torah while disobeying Torah, their unrighteous fruit makes it clear, according to Scripture, that they fail the test of righteousness and they are counterfeit and satanic. Have I repeated this truth enough yet? Review Matthew 7:13-20!
Prophetic Call: Leave Every Counterfeit Way, And Stay On The One True Way
We would all do well to live our lives in obedience to what was told to Jeremiah:
“Stand in the crossroads and look… ask for the ancient path… the good way… and walk in it.”
— Jeremiah 6:16
- The ancient path is Torah.
- The good/functional way is Torah.
- The path Yahoshua walked is Torah.
- The way the apostles defended is Torah.
- The pathway that the Book of Revelation returns us to is Torah.

Those who do The commandments, obey YAH’s Torah, they will have the right to enter into The Kingdom and eternal life. All other ways, including the false ways, as is listed last in the passage above — those who love and walk in false, counterfeit ways, will be outside The Kingdom. And remember, this is the last chapter of the last book of the Bible.
The question facing every reader is simple:
Will you follow the traditions of men… or the instruction (Torah) of The Most High YAH?
The adversary, the deceiver, Satan and his ministers, have built many world religions in addition to the so-called Abrahamic religions, and they are all false ways. But YAH has only ever given us one Way— His way!
YAH’s Way… It was the way which Abraham walked — he was a Torah. Yahoshua came and redeemed us, He taught us, how to follow Him in The way, because He is The Way. He is The Word of YAH who became flesh and tabernacled amongst us (John 1:1-14). We are able to walk in The Way of Torah, in its fullness, when we walk after Him — that’s the only way to be a follower of The Messiah. So, let us walk after Him in spirit & truth, and let us only walk with or follow after the examples of others who follow Him, just like our beloved brother, the apostle Paul/Shaul said (1 Corinthians 11:1).
And on that note, I’ll leave you with these verses to meditate on; remember to follow YAH’s way and turn from all others, no matter how tempting they might be or how pleasant they may seem, all other ways are false and satanic.
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
Proverbs 14:12
“Only be strong and very courageous, to guard to do according to all the Torah which Moses My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it right or left, so that you act wisely wherever you go. “Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely.”
Joshua 1:7-8
“Blessed are the perfect in the way, Who walk in the Torah of YAH! Blessed are those who observe His witnesses, Who seek Him with all their heart! Yes, they shall do no unrighteousness; They shall walk in His ways.”
Psalms 119:1-3
“Blessed is the man who shall not walk in the counsel of the wrong, And shall not stand in the path of sinners, And shall not sit in the seat of scoffers, But his delight is in the Torah of YAH, And he meditates in His Torah day and night.”
Psalms 1:1-2
Until next time, shalom ✌🏾
