We Should Seek To Grow More In His Perfection, Every Day Of Our Lives

If we did dysfunctional things in our past (no matter how big or small; individually & collectively), and we continue doing things dysfunctionally even after being given corrective & preventative instruction, we show evidence of immaturity & imperfection. If we gain the knowledge of our dysfunction, the cause & cure, if we learn The Way to become functional, according to our Almighty Father, and we reject the knowledge & instruction, we will never be perfected, we will never mature. This was the issue of the Israelites in the past, just as it is our issue today. Too often, we learn to excuse, embrace, and enhance our imperfections, but we are supposed to seek perfection and we should mature in our ways, not just our age:

“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child. But when I became a man, I did away with childish matters.”

Qorintiyim Aleph (1 Corinthians)‬ ‭13:11‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

We are to grow in life. We, who love our Father should grow in understanding, in obedience, in faith, in truth. We are instructed to be perfect, which Hebraically speaking, means we must be mature, we must become righteous and complete in the eyes of our Father Yah.

“Brothers, do not be children in your thinking, but in evil be babes, and in your thinking be perfect.”

Qorintiyim Aleph (1 Corinthians)‬ ‭14:20‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

Be perfect before יהוה (Yah) your Elohim (God),”

Deḇarim (Deuteronomy)‬ ‭18:13‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

“Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the heavens is perfect.”‬‬

Mattithyahu (Matthew)‬ ‭5:48‬ ‭TS2009

“My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the proving of your belief works endurance. And let endurance have a perfect work, so that you be perfect and complete, lacking in naught.”

Ya‛aqoḇ (James)‬ ‭1:2-4‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

But how can we achieve such maturity, such completeness, such…perfection? Hmmm… Wouldn’t it be great if we had a standardized set of instructions that could tell us how we could achieve perfection, maturity, and completeness in the eyes of our Father… I mean, that is His desire for us, right?… But of course: it is His desire for us, and we do have His instructions. Many of us today know what Torah means, but for those of us who do not, Torah does not mean: The Law or the first five books of the Bible, no, but both of those are part of Torah. Torah means: sent forth instruction, from Father Yah Himself; and according to Scripture, following His Torah/His instruction is The Way to Perfection, and we who are followers of “The Way, The Truth and The Life”, must never forget this! Let us be reminded today and every day to walk in The Way of Yah:

“(Aleph א) Blessed are the perfect in THE WAY, Who walk in the Torah of יהוה! I have seen an end of all perfection; Your command is exceedingly broad.”‬‬

Tehillim (Psalms)‬ ‭119:1, 96‬ ‭TS2009

“Let my heart be perfect in Your laws, So that I am not put to shame.”

Tehillim (Psalms)‬ ‭119:80‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

“Let your heart therefore be perfect to יהוה our Elohim, to walk in His laws and guard His commands, as at this day.”

Melaḵim Aleph (1 Kings)‬ ‭8:61‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.”

Romiyim (Romans)‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

“But he that looked into the perfect Torah, that of freedom, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing of the Torah.”

Ya‛aqoḇ (James)‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

On our own, it is impossible to reach righteous perfection, but all praises to The Most High YAH, we can do all things through His power, and we are thankful for the life, teaching, and example of His Son, The Messiah/HaMashaich, who showed us how to live, by walking in The Way perfectly. If we then, walk after Him, He will perfect our walk and our work—HalleluYAH!

“being persuaded of this, that He who has begun a good work in you shall perfect it until the day of יהושע (Yahoshua, aka “Jesus”) Messiah.”

‭‭Pilipiyim (Philippians)‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

“T’oma (Thomas) said to Him, “Master, we do not know where You are going, and how are we able to know The Way?” יהושע said to him, “I AM THE WAY, and The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

‭‭Yoḥanan (John)‬ ‭14:5-6‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

Again, let us ensure that each & every day that we are walking in The Way. We are so blessed to be able to read in Scripture exactly how He made the pathway easy for us to find and follow.

“Ěl is my mighty stronghold, And He makes my way perfect,”

Shemu’ĕl Bĕt (2 Samuel)‬ ‭22:33‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

“It is Ěl who girds me with strength, And makes my way perfect,”‬‬

Tehillim (Psalms)‬ ‭18:32‬ ‭TS2009

We must repent/turn away from our ways and seek & follow our Father’s Way; we must strive daily to live out our lives, in the way which He desires for us to live. We must always remember, that no matter how hard things may get, if we go through life rejecting His Way in favor of doing things our way, things will not work out for us in the end. His way alone, leads to Him; all other ways, no matter how good they look or seem, no matter how well-intentioned they may be, all other ways end in destruction.

“Enter in through the narrow gate! Because the (other) gate is wide – and the (other) way is broad – that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in through it. “Because the gate is narrow and The Way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Mattithyahu (Matthew)‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

When we as a people, as the nation of Israel, the people who are called by His name, when we seek The Way of our Father and then return to His Way, He will then return to us, and turn back our captivity!

“And you shall seek Me, and shall find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. And I shall be found by you,’ declares יהוה, ‘and I shall turn back your captivity, and shall gather you from ALL the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, declares יהוה. And I shall bring you back to the place from which I have exiled you.’”

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah)‬ ‭29:13-14‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

So I encourage you as I encourage myself, let us walk in His way, seeking Him humbly, and rejecting all other ways.

“and My people upon whom My Name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I shall hear from the heavens, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Diḇre haYamim Bĕt (2 Chronicles)‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭TS2009‬‬
