Don’t be “Woke” in the eyes of the world, Awaken in the eyes of The King!

The King, the True King, and no, we’re not talking about that guy over in England who just took over from his deceased mum—he’s no king of mine or yours family… Let us speak about The King of kings, The Messiah/HaMashiach, and how we must never forget that He wants us to do that which pleases Him and our Father! He wants us to awake from our slumber, the slumber party of sin & dysfunction which we were born into in these lands of our captivity. He wants us to be awakened, renewed, and reborn. He wants us to be righteously WOKE! Many of us are learning this but for those of you who don’t yet, know this—Our King wants us, scattered Zion, to wake up to: who we are, whom we belong, what we must do to enter into His Kingdom!

The world is on this “stay woke” kick, but as I’ve said in other posts, it’s a hijacking of our language & culture, and it’s time to set the record straight. To the beast system of this world, being/staying “woke” is now a progressively, liberally, forward-thinking state of being, where everyone is supposed to be equal; but think & speak against the system and you will see just how unequal you are, and that in fact, no one is equal. The world says being “woke” means that everyone has a voice; but once again, speak against the beast, and the system will take your voice. Now, the beast system of today is nothing new, but it is renewed. It operates using the same systemic values that led to the downfall of Sodom & Gomorrah, Egypt, Babylon, Greece, Rome, etc… all those nations with their ideals reached a level where their pride in being “woke” in their day, swelled and then came their destruction. Each of those nations rose up in pride, only to fall in shame.

Now, as the “Western” mindset rules the world, pride reigns (both LGBT PRIDE and traditional pride), and we see the beast system’s definition of “Woke” taking its destructive form once again. Some areas of the world are imploding, while others are exploding, but the destruction has begun. Unfortunately, the people of this world cannot see the pending destruction, their eyes are closed as if they are blind or asleep to what those of us who are awakened, can see clearly. The question of the day is: who is it that has made them unable to see? Why… it’s the one who rules this world and the beast system:

“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ/Mashiach, who is the exact likeness of God/YAH.”‬‬

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭NLT

The people of the world do not know, nor do they care to know The Messiah/HaMashiach, they don’t care to know Him as King or Judge, because being “woke” means that you do not need or have a king or judge. Ok, we might be going too fast with this, so let’s slow things down and before we go any further, let’s look at the so-called definition of what “woke” means together shall we:

That definition above sounds good, doesn’t it? But we all know that being “woke” doesn’t stay within those parameters. Being “woke” has become dysfunctional. Should we want to be “woke” like the world?… Do we want to be “woke” like Brad Pitt above 😂. Of course not. So what are we to do? The opposite of the world… So, does that mean that we should not be “woke” and that we should instead stay asleep? No. We should be woke, but we should be functionally & righteously woke, and to be woke like that—we need to be awakened!

Being woke in the eyes of this world, is to be blindingly asleep in the eyes of The Most High. So, what does it look like to be awakened in His eyes? Well, we have many scriptural instructions, but let’s look at just a few:

“WAKE UP, WAKE UP, O Zion! Clothe yourself with strength. Put on your beautiful clothes, O holy city of Jerusalem, for unclean and godless people will enter your gates no longer. Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit in a place of honor. Remove the chains of slavery from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For this is what the Lord/YAH says: “When I sold you into exile, I received no payment. Now I can redeem you without having to pay for you.””

Isaiah‬ ‭52:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Again, if we are/when we were “woke”, we are/were really asleep. Being “woke” like that is bondage to dysfunction & sin. Sadly, far too many of our people, who can be freed & awakened, still choose to continue living lives where they love the lies over this truth. We can no longer follow the blind leaders of this world & the ways of this beast system and these world religions. All of us can read and test what Scripture says for ourselves, by ourselves. We can awaken and know this:

“You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ (Mashiach) (The King) and of God (YAH). For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of YAH will fall on all who disobey Him. Don’t participate in the things these people do. For once you were full of darkness (“woke” but still asleep), but now you have light from The King (you are awakened). So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Carefully determine what pleases The King. Take NO part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “AWAKE

Ephesians‬ ‭5:5-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But YAH shows His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. They know the truth about YAH because He has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything YAH made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing YAH. Yes, they knew YAH, but they wouldn’t worship Him as YAH or even give Him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what YAH was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living YAH, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. So YAH abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about YAH for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things YAH created instead of The Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. That is why YAH abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge YAH, He abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of YAH, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know YAH’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.”

Romans‬ ‭1:18-32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are living in the days where the “woke mob” as some people call it, does exactly what that passage above ends with, they “encourage others” to do dysfunctional, sinful things. The beast system has people all over this world rejecting The Most High. Even many of our friends & family who will say that they love The Most High and His ways, actually in their hearts, they will reject Him, and they end up going along with the rest of the world, being enemies of YAH (James 4:4). Many of us are sadly see our friends & family professing their support in Pride and being Woke, but remember, we were told this is how it would be. We just read it, and we know that there is no stopping it, and to think otherwise is futile and distractionary. So instead, of going with the world and its pride & woke mob ways, this is what we (those of us who desire to be righteously awake), must remember & do:

“Preach the word of YAH. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for The King. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry YAH has given you.”

2 Timothy‬ ‭4:2-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Do NOT love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of The Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and PRIDE in our achievements and possessions. These are NOT from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases YAH will live forever. Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come.”

1 John‬ ‭2:15-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We who are awakened, and those who truly desire to be awakened, have our work cut out for us, but as we read above, this is the time for us to stand tall, these are the last days. And as we prepare to wrap this one up, let us once again end with some words from our beloved brother and apostle Paul/Shaul:

“Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example. For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross/stake of Mashiach. They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. BUT WE are citizens of heaven, where The King Yahoshua Mashiach lives. And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior.”

Philippians‬ ‭3:17-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬
