This is another in-house conversation family: Let us so-called Black/Negro people, prepare ourselves to talk about these simple truths whenever we gather with our family & friends, because they need to hear The Truth and we must be ready & able to tell The Truth always.
Again, we should always be ready to bring these types of points up and let us also ask these types of questions in our conversations when we gather and fellowship at community events, cookouts & family reunions, parties, weddings, and even funerals, etc… Our people, worldwide, need to know what works for us!
Community leaders, governmental departments, civil organizations, and even social movements have tried to fix so-called “Black Households & Neighborhoods” (and I’ll just say “Our Community” from this point forward) for years… and yes, things have changed in some ways, but is Our Community fixed? Have we been restored to a fully functional state as a people? I think we can all answer that with a big “Nope”. So, let us focus on ourselves as a Community for a moment… Yes, the world is rife with dysfunction, but there are communities within the world’s nations that succeed above our Our Community, within every nation… The question is: why is that?
Other communities, that live amongst us in these worldwide countries, follow some vital cultural norms, they collectively teach & follow instructions & customs, and we can see observable benefits. For instance, the way they handle their money vs. how Our Community handles money is often a talking point. We’ve heard it for years: “Black dollars do not stay within the Black Community”, while Asians, Ashkenazim, and other so-called minority communities do a much better job at building up & maintaining their people”.
You read it above “hours”, not days or weeks… 6 short hours. That is a sad fact for Our Community indeed. This sad fact helped many of us in the last decade, to make efforts to do business within — we’ve had movements to “Buy Black” and “Bank Black”, both of those movements have merit. Still, there has yet to be a community move that seeks to correct our lending & borrowing practices. Little does Our Community as a whole know, that we have a royal standard of life, a holy instruction that was established long ago, a law that was made to govern how we lend to one another for communal aid, and how we are to lend outside of Our Community for communal gain.
Side note: In previous blogs we talked about how the Bible is not about, by, or for Christianity but rather The Nation/Children of Israel. In multiple other blogs we’ve gone over the proofs that we, the so-called Negroes, are in fact Israelites, so putting it all together, if we are the “The People of The Book” it would be great for us to live according to The Book. Now, whether or not you believe or understand it, for now, let us continue and look deeper at the restorative processes for Our Community.
Just imagine if we were taught/if we teach the next generation to return to keeping that Deuteronomy instruction above on lending & borrowing within Our Community and outside of Our Community. Seriously, pause for a moment and think about how your life, the lives of your parents, children, siblings, cousins, friends, etc… how different Our Community would be if we were able to lend to one another without interest, while gaining interest from other communities (like how everyone draws interest from us now)—What a fix financially right? Now, I know what some of you might be thinking, “Yeah right, don’t hold your breath, we’ll never be able to do that!” But I’m telling you—we can, even if we start small; one person, one household at a time. Then we grow the practice of keeping this simple instruction within our larger families and communities. It can be done, because again, not only do we see it working in other communities, but it worked for Our Community in our recent & ancient past. Let’s take a look at this clip, I remember how it irritated me when I first heard the words from this racist, but sadly he’s correct on this 😔😮💨
As we heard above, the Ashkenazim/the so-called “Jews” practice what works; they follow a lending instruction (an instruction originally meant for Our Community to follow, a truth which has been hidden away from us), and they reap the rewards as a community. Again, the lesson is there for us to learn, we can learn from our past, and see the results in other communities currently, there’s proof of success; it’s evidenced by those who follow the righteous instruction and reap the benefits & dividends.
The Foundational Fix
So now, as we do in other blogs, let’s go over some additional Scriptural passages so that things are absolutely clear. And let’s go straight to the foundation! We will go over the bottom half of The 10 Commandments/”The Big 10”, because in these latter 5 of The Big 10, we can see easy fixes for some of the most dysfunctional conditions within Our Community. Once we return to living according to these 5, yes, at the very least these 5 righteous laws & instructions, a ton would change overnight in Our Community:
Ok… Let’s walk through this easy-to-keep list of commandments together, and we will see how obeying these commands can do what no politician, program, movement, or government could ever do—this is how WE repair Our Community:
The 6th Commandment
First up—MURDER. Just imagine, if starting tomorrow, no one within Our Community committed murder… no unjust killing… no so-called “black-on-black crime”… can you picture it? Try harder… try to imagine, and really think about how it would be if our brothas & sistas no longer murdered one another… no longer even tolerated, sang, rapped, joked about or glorified (by any other means) our murdering of each other. Better yet, as The Messiah told us, imagine Our Community no longer being filled with hate & anger towards our brothas & sistas, because anger & hatred of our people, leads to murder, which leads to eternal judgment:
“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not MURDER; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is ANGRY with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.”
Matthew 5:21-22 ESV
“The Lord (YAH) said to Cain, “Why are you ANGRY, and why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.” Cain spoke to Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and KILLED (Murdered) him. Then the Lord (YAH) said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know; am I my brother’s keeper?” And the Lord (YAH) said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.”
Genesis 4:6-10 ESV
A Star Wars line comes to mind, where Yoda said “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” Fear, anger, hate, suffering… and the suffering part is the one that lasts after a guilty judgment.
One of the worst types of murder is the murder of innocent, young life. Our Community especially suffers from the high number of murders of our most innocent—in many world nations, our babies are “legally” murdered according to the laws of these dysfunctional nations, via their legalized abortion/child murder laws, but according to The Laws found in Scripture, we know that abortion/child murder is not Lawful according to The Father’s Law no matter how many nations “legalize” it. Abortion advocates call it “Pro-choice”, a better description would be to call it “Pro-abortion”, but ultimately it is Pro-death/Pro-murder/Pro-sin, especially since it is in opposition to “Pro-Life”.
Murder & abortion are heavy topics, I know… Still, let us continue, with the next command. Imagine, if starting tomorrow, Our Community stopped committing ADULTERY (and all other types of sexual promiscuity & sin).
The 7th Commandment
Can you picture Our Community full of stable adultery-free marriages & households? Husbands & wives unadulteratedly in love, raising children together in unbroken unity, and raising new generations in infidelity-free marriages & households is a major fix to Our Community. Also, we know that adultery is especially hurtful & destructive, so much so that it can lead to murder, not only divorce. We should read Matthew chapters 5-7 often and remember what The Messiah says about all of these commands, and how we can keep ourselves from breaking them, but for now, let us review these other passages below, knowing that Our Community would benefit immediately & immensely from having stable marriages free from sexual immorality.
Don’t stop imagining… keep thinking how great it would be to have our children in homes with both parents, to have no cheating in our families, and also imagine being rid of much of the so-called baby daddy/baby mama drama that plagues some of us within Our Community. We would not only understand the harm of adultery, but we would also seek to be sexually moral and righteous before marriage as well, once again as a people, understanding the value of pre-marriage virginity and life-long untainted sexuality. Sex outside of marriage, is sex with someone who is not your spouse, plain & simple, and sex is supposed to be a gift & benefit of marriage; and that gift of virginity, when given/received outside of marriage via fornication, is an irreplaceable theft of the future spouse’s gift.
“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God (YAH) will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”
Hebrews 13:4 ESV
Most importantly, sexual immorality not only can risk your health & wealth, but don’t be deceived into thinking that sex is just sex; sex is not exclusively physical, it is very much a spiritual matter. Sex connects & binds people together; you don’t just join together as one flesh, but you connect, you bind together on spiritual, or shall I say, a soul level as well. Soul-ties can cost you your life & soul in the case of sexual immorality, in various ways:
“He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself. He will get wounds and dishonor, and his disgrace will not be wiped away. For jealousy makes a man furious, and he will NOT spare when he takes revenge. He will accept NO compensation; he will refuse though you multiply gifts.”
Proverbs 6:32-35 ESV
“Outside (The Kingdom) are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
Revelation 22:15 ESV
“But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake (of fire, aka Hell) that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:8 ESV
Yes indeed… our sex lives don’t only matter now, but they will always matter! But for now, let us continue talking about fixes for Our Community, shall we? And before we move on, you saw in that Proverb passage above, that the jealousy and rage of those cheated on, cannot be assuaged. We can see the evidence in the news and elsewhere when considering the far too many violent acts that are committed following fornication, some ending in cold-blooded murder, which again, was the first prohibition in the Commandments that we went over above. So, if our fornication & infidelity decrease, we will also have less murder within Our Community… See the connection?
Next up, imagine no more STEALING, no more THEFT. This one will be quick.
The 8th Commandment
No one likes a thief; and thieves, like adulterers, can enrage victims to the point where all they want to do is murder the thief. So, if Our Community ended theft, we would not only have security & safety restored to Our Community (pause and imagine the level of peace & shalom our communities would have), but we would also have increased revenue and property value — what a fix.
Next up, imagine no more FALSE WITNESSING amongst us; not merely in court or with legal matters, but also with social and personal matters.
The 9th Commandment
Imagine no more lies… no more he said/she said gossip with part truths/part lies… imagine Our Community being known (again) as a people whose word is bond… yep you already know, not only would that fix a lot of our conflict & dysfunction because we would once again be a trustworthy nation of people who trusted one another, but also of course, murder would decrease (the pattern continues). Far too many of our people get caught up in lies and gossip at the cost of human lives. That would change instantly if & when we returned to being a people who only dealt in truth.
And last but certainly not least of the Big 10 Commandments, is COVETOUSNESS.
The 10th Commandment
If Our Community no longer selfishly wanted what belonged to others, if we didn’t want, for ourselves: our brotha’s girl; our sista’s car; our neighbor’s house, position, etc… Imagine how shalom, how peace and contentment would be restored to Our People. Covetousness is more than envy & jealousy, it is wanting what belongs to someone else, not just wanting something like someone else… It’s a baited trap that can lead to lying, sexual immorality, theft, and murder. Covetousness can kill, steal, and destroy shalom/peace. In many instances, stopping covetousness can prevent the other commandments we covered, from being broken in the first place. For one, covetousness is a mind & heart matter. It differs right up front from the other prohibitions we went over already. If we can get and keep our hearts & minds right throughout Our Community, imagine no more selfish dysfunction! Imagine functional support replacing dysfunctional competition throughout Our Community. I’m saying, really sit and imagine Our Community being full of people who truly love one another and no longer covet anything that belongs to their neighbors—wow! What a fix.
The Cause & Cure
Now, you might be wondering, what about the 5th commandment, wouldn’t that also be life-changing for Our Community? Yes indeed! I purposefully started with the 6th and not the 5th Commandment because we will cover that in the next blog, along with the first 4 of The Big 10; because the first 5 actually are the ultimate fix for Our Community. But as we close this blog out, after we very quickly went over the bottom 5 of The Big 10, we can see how just these 5 ways of living, would fix a lot of the dysfunction found within Our Communities wherever we are scattered. Our so-called hoods would once again be neighborhoods where our children would be safe & loved, our homes & businesses would thrive, because we would actually be communal and not adversarial. We’d be a people who cared for one another again, a people who looked out for each other again, we’d be a real community and not competitors — family not foes again!
If you talk to or read about people who lived in Our Communities before the civil rights era, you will see by & large, evidence of true community; neighborhoods where the bottom 5 of The Big 10 Commandments were actually kept relatively well. Now most certainly, we always had murderers, thieves, the sexually immoral, liars, and covetous folks amongst us, but Our Community wasn’t abjectly known by them as we see today. Our families, businesses, churches & organizations, schools, music & other art forms weren’t overwhelmingly, stereotypically known by our breaking of the bottom 5 Commandments… Those were the days—and believe it or not, those days are in our future (study Deutonomy 28 & 30).
But today, we are still in the days of reawakening; and person by person, house by house, we are awakening more each day to who we are and to whom we belong. Yes, it’s a wild world, yes Our Community as a whole is wild and our families & neighborhoods are still currently breaking just about every commandment there is… But you are reading this today; I am writing this today; others are learning, teaching & preaching this today; others are singing & advancing this same message of restoration today. We are awakening today, and the changes are happening faster than they were 5 years ago. Some of our people who were once prideful, insolent breakers of the Commandments are learning to become repentant, humble keepers of the Commandments. Sadly, most of us won’t wake up and repent, this is true, but those of us who do, we are the few, we are the awakening remnant people that Scripture speaks of, WE will make a difference, and WE have work to do:
“‘RETURN, O faithless children [of the twelve tribes],’ says the Lord (YAH), ‘For I am a master and husband to you, And I will take you [not as a nation, but individually]—one from a city and two from a [tribal] family— And I will bring you to Zion.’”
Jeremiah 3:14 AMP
“And Isaiah calls out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be like the sand of the sea, it is only the remnant [a small believing minority] that will be saved [from God’s (YAH’s) judgment];”
Romans 9:27 AMP
“and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and TURN from their wicked ways (repent), then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 AMP
Now is the time for US to return to being The Righteous Community Of The Most High YAH!
