🎇 Boom, Bang, and a Big Lie
Family, while folks are out waving flags and grilling GMO hot dogs under illusions of freedom & independence, let’s get real: this holiday isn’t about our freedom — it’s not even about theirs anymore.
Years ago, I shared some uncomfortable truths in my blog, “While Some Celebrate the 4th of July, We Remember the 4th of You-Lie.”
This year, the fireworks haven’t changed — but neither has the lie. So let’s take it even deeper.
📜 Independence for Whom?
Let’s not forget:
- July 4, 1776, marked the colonizers’ break from Britain🇬🇧 — not from slavery⛓️.
- While they toasted and cheered to “liberty,” our ancestors were in shackles, abused, whipped, bought, sold, and worked until death.
- The same folks who said “all men are created equal” conveniently excluded the ones who built their wealth, their home & country, fed them, etc…
Today, that same spirit of hypocrisy is alive and well:
- Mass incarceration replaced plantations.
- Police brutality replaced slave patrols.
- Miseducation replaced literacy laws.
- Economic slavery keeps our people chasing debt and dying to survive.
They sing “land of the free” — but the soil is still stained with the blood of those who were enslaved. And our blood still cries out to our Father in Heaven today.
🩸 Red, White, and Bruised
Let’s talk colors… They hijacked our Hebrew Israelite, Biblically verified colors ( Red, White, & Blue), and they tell us lies about their meanings, but we see this instead:
- Red? That’s our blood spilled for a country that never fought for us.
- White? That’s the whitewashing of history — the lies, the sanitized textbooks, the fake heroes.
- Blue? That’s the bruises. The blue lights flashing before another brother gets profiled, beaten, or worse.
“They celebrate freedom with fireworks & BBQs while ignoring the flames that burned our homes, churches, and communities.”
Their independence came at the cost of our chains, our blood, sweat, and tears. And yet they will call us ungrateful for not celebrating it.
📖 Our Declaration: Serve YAH, Not the Beast
The Declaration of Independence says:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…”
But the truth ain’t self-evident when it’s buried under lies, unjust laws, and broken promises.
Our declaration?
- We declare independence from this wicked system.
- We pledge allegiance to YAH alone, not a blood-soaked flag.
- We walk in the Way of Yahoshua, not in the traditions of the colonizer.
- We keep the Feasts of YAH, not the fireworks of Babylon.
Our true freedom isn’t found in the U.S. Constitution — it’s found in the Torah our Israelite Constitution!
🪓 Even Y’all Ain’t Free: A Word to European Americans
Here’s the twist: even the ones who think they’re free… You aren’t.
Your ancestors literally fought to the death over a 3¢ tea tax. “Taxation without representation” was enough to grab muskets and storm the empire.
But Now look at you:
- You need permits to build on your own land.
- You need licenses to fish, hunt, driveget married, etc…
- You need government approval for just about everything your ancestors would’ve called basic rights.
Y’all went from throwing tea in the harbor to just complaining on Facebook about taxes and gas prices.
That’s not freedom. That’s comfortability in conformity under oppression.
At least your ancestors had the fire to resist. You? You wave the flag of the very system that’s robbing you blind — with a smile.
Y’all aren’t free… y’all are Free-dummies too.
And since many people won’t hear these simple facts from us, perhaps you/they will listen to this gentleman:
🔥 A Call to Remember and Resist
Family, We don’t celebrate captivity just because they call it liberty. They celebrate independence from England; We declare our dependence on YAH, and to Him do we pledge our allegiance (read Deuteronomy 6).
Let us remember:
- Our people were not included in their independence. Even Juneteenth was over a hundred years after their first Independence Day!
- Our lives are still impacted by the systems they built and refuse to dismantle — we still suffer from taxation without true representation, and liberty & justice.
- YAH, not Washington, D.C., is our true source of freedom.
And we resist:
- By rejecting pagan holidays and embracing YAH’s moedim (YAH’s set apart holy days as found in The Bible).
- By teaching our children the truth in our Scriptures, not the muddled truth found in most textbooks.
- By coming out of Babylon and walking in obedience to The Way, The Truth, and The Life — the way of Yahoshua HaMashiach; in Him we obtain life, liberty and happiness.
🛑 Don’t Be a ‘Free-Dummy’
If your “freedom” comes with an ever increasing price tag, it’s not freedom — it’s permission.
If your rights can be revoked with a vote, they’re not rights — they’re privileges.
If your joy is tied to a holiday built on hypocrisy and lies, then you’ve been sold fireworks, BBQs, and a day off work, in exchange for truth.
So don’t be a Free-dummy any longer.
Don’t be a willing slave, celebrating another man’s so-called freedom while you stay chained.
Don’t wave an idolic flag when you should be sounding the alarm of repentance.
🎺Blow the trumpet. Wake up the sleeping.
And remember: YAH’s people have their own calendar & holydays, their own laws, and their own Eternal King.
