You might have heard this from me before, but hear me again, because just as I tell my family, I also implore you to listen to & obey—shema (in Hebrew) the Words of Our King in Matthew 24 & Luke 21. Read & heed His words in those chapters, at least once a month, because we must not only get ready, but we must stay ready. Ready for what? Ever-increasing Torah-lessness/Lawlessness:
We can all observe the lawlessness which rampant throughout the countries of the world, but let’s for a moment focus our observation on the countries in which we live. Consider the righteous & foundational laws of our Father in heaven, which are being proudly broken these days, I mean, really sit and think about the cold-hearted & loveless people who are showing out more & more these days… 😮💨. Since I live in the USA, I’ll just post a couple of articles and videos below that show recent cold-hearted-lawlessness here in “The States” (and I’m sure those of you living in other countries, see things increasing where you are too):
The media (social & corporate) might encourage people to believe that violence & crime is led by a certain demographic, namely our so-called “Black” male youths. Truthfully, we all know that all races, ages, and sexes are evidenced to have individuals & groups that carry out wicked deeds; just as it always has been, and how it will be—it ain’t a “black” thing! The whole world is full of the wicked, and the world has been given over to wicked nations, which act wickedly & teach wickedness.
As we can sadly see above in those small examples, our Father’s foundational commandments are proudly being broken at an ever-increasing pace: theft, murder, sexual immorality, false testimonies, and covetousness, to name a few abound more than ever. What else do we tend to see, especially in the comments? People offering their unsolicited opinions of and reasons why these things are happening. Some place blame, and others try to offer solutions, as to why these things seem to be increasing. Some want to solely blame the individuals, while others blame parents, families & friends, and others blame society, government, law & order (or the lack thereof)… and while any and all of the above might share some of the blame, there is NO sign of change, and things will NOT get better in this world, no matter what the world tries… As bleak as that may sound, hear the foretelling from our King once again:
Did you pay attention to the “will/shall” above? Reread the verse above again. Guess what, our King meant what He said! There is NO stopping the word, from The Word (1 John). What He says will… well… you know what the Scripture says:
“So shall My WORD be that goes out from My mouth; it shall NOT return to Me empty, BUT IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH that which I purpose, and shall SUCCEED in the thing for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11 ESV
We must also remember what our beloved brother, the apostle Paul/Sha’ul said:
“Remember that there WILL BE difficult times in the last days. People WILL BE selfish, greedy, boastful, and conceited; they WILL BE insulting, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and irreligious; they WILL BE unkind, merciless, slanderers, violent, and fierce; they will hate the good; they WILL BE treacherous, reckless, and swollen with pride; they WILL love pleasure rather than God (YAH); they WILL hold to the outward form of our religion, but reject its real power. Keep away from such people.”
2 Timothy 3:1-5 GNTD
Today, we see calamity after calamity, and we learned in school that entropy is always increasing right? So, how will it end up?… Well, thankfully we know what we must do as trustworthy citizens of our King, as we patiently wait while seeking His Kingdom. As things continue to worsen, we are told to endure! Let’s read a bit more of the passage this time:
“Because Lawlessness is increased, the love of most people WILL grow cold. BUT the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved. This good news of The Kingdom [The Gospel] WILL BE preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, AND THEN the end [of the age] WILL come.”
Matthew 24:12-14 AMP
I sound like a broken record, all the time, both in-person as well as online, but that’s because the message is the same as it has been; it’s a message we are told repeatedly in Scripture: Endure! Keep on enduring, trusting & obeying, because no matter what calamity comes next, no matter what lawlessness shows up online or in person, we knew it would come because our King & Scripture has told us what to be prepared for. We see some of the cyclical events, like the curses of Deuteronomy 28, which happened in generations pasts and continue within us today; we also saw some of the promises from our King in Matthew 24 & Luke 21 come to pass when Jerusalem fell and we also know most assuredly that we will see the fullness of His Word come to pass and be fulfilled in the days to come. Again, read those two chapters often, and also remember this below and be thankful when you do:
“Do NOT forget this! Keep it in mind! Remember this, you guilty ones. Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God (Elohim)! I am God (Elohim), and there is none like Me. Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.”
Isaiah 46:8-10 NLT
“Because those (wicked) people refuse to keep in mind the true knowledge about God (YAH), YAH has given them over to corrupted minds, so that they do the things that they should NOT do. They are filled with all kinds of wickedness, evil, greed, and vice; they are full of jealousy, murder, fighting, deceit, and malice. They gossip and speak evil of one another; they are hateful to YAH, insolent, proud, and boastful; they think of more ways to do evil; they disobey their parents; they have no conscience; they do not keep their promises, and they show NO kindness or pity for others. They know that YAH’s LAW says that people who live in this way deserve death. YET, not only do they continue to do these very things, but they even approve of others who do them.”
Romans 1:28-32 GNTD
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God (YAH) has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus (Yahoshua), The Champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside YAH’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin. And have you forgotten the encouraging words YAH spoke to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t make light of the YAH’s discipline, and don’t give up when He corrects you. For YAH disciplines those He loves, and He punishes each one He accepts as His child.””
Hebrews 12:1-6 NLT
Our salvation, our deliverance, our redemption, our restoration draws nearer each day… the days may seem darker, BUT we are headed toward the promise of The Light—His Light. Read & meditate on the pending promises of Deuteronomy 30.

Thank you for the reminder to stay vigilant and heed the words of our King. It can be disheartening to see the increasing lawlessness in the world, but knowing that we have a sure hope in our salvation can help us endure.
