Is The Bible About Christianity, OR A Peculiar Nation?

Here’s a hint, where in this verse do you see a mention of anything pertaining to Christianity?:

“But you are a CHOSEN RACE, a royal priesthood, a CONSECRATED NATION, a [special] PEOPLE for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called YOU out of darkness into His marvelous light.”‬‬

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭AMP

Did you see it? Perhaps you missed the mention of anything pertaining to Christianity… read it again, slowly, that way you can find Christianity connection in the text:

“But you are a CHOSEN RACE, a royal priesthood, a CONSECRATED NATION, a [special] PEOPLE for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called YOU out of darkness into His marvelous light.”‬‬

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭AMP

Did you see Christianity above? Or… did you see: Race & Nation?

Another thing to consider, who is the “you” in the verse above? What race, nation, and people is this verse (and fundamentally the entire Bible), talking about? Here again, is a hint:

“Hear this word that The Lord (יהוה YAHUAH/YAH) has spoken against YOU, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt: “I have known [chosen, cared for, and loved] ONLY YOU of all the families of the earth; Therefore I shall punish YOU (Israelites) for all YOUR wickedness.””

Amos‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

YOU (Israel) are to be holy (set apart) to Me; for I The Lord (YAH) am holy, and have set YOU (Israel) apart FROM the peoples (nations) to be Mine.”

Leviticus‬ ‭20‬:‭26‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Today The Lord (YAH) has declared that YOU (Israelites) are His people, His treasured possession, just as He promised YOU (Israelites), and that YOU (Israelites) are to keep ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS; and that He will set YOU (Israelites) high above all the nations which He has made, for praise, fame, and honor: and that YOU (Israelites) shall be a holy people [set apart and consecrated] to The Lord (YAH) your God, just as He has spoken.””

Deuteronomy‬ ‭26‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

That’s right… you read it for yourself, the “YOU” is Israel! The Bible always has been and always will be a collection of books & letters, not written by & for Christians, but by & for the chosen and set apart nation & people of Israel. And before a thought even enters your mind about the other nations, they can read & heed The Bible, and become companions of Israel by following Scripture. However, it is the Israelites who have a responsibility (unlike any other nation on earth), which is found within Scripture over & over again. Israel was to obey/keep/guard the Commandments/Instructions/Laws of The Most High! But… as I always say, don’t believe me or anyone else over Scripture, read this other passage for yourself:

“For YOU (Israelites) are a holy people [set apart] to The Lord (YAH) your God; The Lord (YAH) your God has chosen YOU (Israelites) out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be a people for His own possession [that is, His very special treasure]. “The Lord (YAH) did NOT love YOU and choose YOU because YOU were greater in number than any of the other peoples, for YOU (Israelites) were the fewest of all peoples. But because The Lord (YAH) loves YOU and is keeping the oath which He swore to YOUR fathers (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel) , The Lord (YAH) has brought YOU out with a mighty hand and redeemed (bought) YOU from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Therefore know [without any doubt] and understand that The Lord (YAH) your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping HIS covenant and HIS [steadfast] lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who love HIM and keep His commandments;”

Deuteronomy‬ ‭7‬:‭6‬-‭9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The Bible is about YAH, the Elohim (God) of the Israelites, and His covenant with His chosen people—The Children/The Nation of ISRAEL. The Bible is not about Christianity. The Bible is not about the Catholic Church, nor any Denominational or Non-denominational Christian Church. The Bible is about The chosen people, the scattered but not destroyed nation of Israel, and that’s not according to me or my beliefs, but that’s according to The Bible. It doesn’t matter: how any of us feel about it; what we believe or not; or what any church doctrines say, what matters is what the truth of Scripture says!

Anyone that believes or teaches that: “The Church is what the Bible is about”, has been led by the blind, and/or they are blindly leading others into the same pit, stumbling over the Scriptural truth. Here’s some of that truth we can all find in Scripture:

“I say then, has God (YAH) rejected and disowned HIS PEOPLE (Israel)? Certainly NOT! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God (YAH) has not rejected His [chosen] people (Israel) whom He foreknew (chose). Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?”

Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

So again, according to The Bible, The Bible is not a collection of writings written for the advancement of Christianity & the Christian Church, but rather it’s about, for, and by a particular & peculiar Race & Nation. The chosen nation and the people of that nation are supposed to be a nation of royal priests, doing what? For that answer, first reread 1 Peter 2:9 for yourself, then read the verse which precedes that verse… Those who do not obey/believe in The Word of The Father, those who do not follow The Father’s instruction (Torah), they will stumble over The Chief Cornerstone. Most of the world has stumbled over The Truth of Scripture. I (for most of my life, while in church), stumbled over The Truth. You may still be stumbling over The Truth, without knowing, but, as we get ready to close this one out, I will leave you with some homework. Now… don’t worry, it’s not math (or fill in your least-liked school subject homework), this homework truly matters because we will all be tested by the standardized test of our Father, so this homework is worth your time. Watch and test this outstanding series below, and I hope & pray that it helps you and others to stumble-No-more over The Truth—YAH willing.

“But test ALL things carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. Hold firmly to that which is good.”‬‬

1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬ ‭AMP

Homework instructions: 1). Watch & test this 7-video series FULLY, 2). And then and only then, choose how you will live & whom you will serve! Yes, this series will take up some of your time, but: if you love The Bible; if you love God & Christ; if you value your soul, as much as you say & believe that you do, then I, once again, beseech you to make time this week to watch the series fully, study & test the presented Scriptural & historical references, and then choose Scriptural truth over everything else. I cannot express the importance of this enough.

An outstanding presentation from:
The Gates of Huldah

I pray that our Father in Heaven opens your mind to understand The Scriptures. If this proves to be helpful, please share it with your family & friends, and pray for ways to have edifying discussions about what Scripture says vs. what people say that Scripture says.

Until next time, shalom ✌🏾

I AM: Hebrew—by blood Israelite—by covenant American—by way of birthright citizenship Awakened—by The Word & Spirit of YAH I blog about things that we often all see around us, things that we see in person, online, or on TV— and I offer functional & Scriptural perspectives on such matters. I believe that Scripture is key to understanding this thing we call life: “ALL Scripture is breathed out by Elohim (God) and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work.” ‭‭Timotiyos Bĕt (2 Timothy)‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/316/2ti.3.16-17.TS2009 And that everything we do in life will be judged by The Creator of life, so it's best to understand the conclusion of The Matter: “Let us hear the CONCLUSION OF THE ENTIRE MATTER: FEAR ELOHIM AND GAURD (KEEP) HIS COMMANDS, for this applies to ALL mankind! For Elohim SHALL bring EVERY work into right-ruling (judgment), including ALL that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.” ‭‭Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes)‬ ‭12‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭TS2009‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/316/ecc.12.13-14.TS2009
